A New Product Release Video for JVC
JVC contacted CSK Creative Agency to produce a product release video from start to finish for their new consumer camera line, the JVC Everio Quadproof. JVC being a pioneer in the camera industry, we were thrilled to be able to strategize and develop a visually stimulating marketing project for their company. Hope you enjoy!
Quadproof means it’s ready to withstand water, sand, snow and shock from being dropped so CSK Creative and the Florida Videographer team were tasked with coming up with a way to demonstrate all these things in a cost-effective way.
When Golf Digest called us to shoot an interview with Masters champion Jordan Spieth, we immediately complied. When they told us the original concept, we got even more excited. They planned to do a “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” video with Spieth, but alas, being the most buzz-worthy golfer on the planet at the moment, his handlers said the barely-legal-to-drink Spieth would not be participating in anything that could potentially tarnish his sterling reputation.
What did they land on? A video of Spieth making a 90-foot putt (double his longest bomb on tour at the time) in the hotel hallway. The Golf Digest team tried for an hour to no avail, so we knew we had a formidable challenge for the young ace, and if that wasn’t hard enough, they decided to hit him with a series of pop-culture questions to try to crack his now-legendary Masters Champ concentration.
The New Jersey Institute of Technology Is one of the most progressive technology institutes in the world, but they don’t have the notoriety of a school like MIT, and the difference is marketing. That’s why NJIT came to CSK Creative to produce a shoot with both photos and video of the faculty with one environmental video as the centerpiece.
The video featured Cristian Borcea, Associate Professor of Computer Science at NJIT, discussing high-level technology challenges on the horizon. The video is intended to usher potential students into the site and catch their attention as well as their imagination to the potential of a career in Computer Science with a degree at NJIT.
The photos were all environmental portraits with the faculty in locations that made them feel comfortable. The faculty all had busy schedules and plenty of prior commitments so we shot all our interviews and photos with minimal disruption. The final result was a website that was not only extremely clean and aesthetic, but also informative. We couldn’t be happier with the result.
